Shirodhara

It is type of murdha taila, in which prescribed medicated oil/liquid is continuously poured over the forehead and then allowed to flow over the scalp from a specific height for a certain period of time.

Procedure:

After preparatory procedures, medicinal powders, oil or medicated drops are administered through the nose after making the patient lie down. The medicine, which enters throat, should be spitted out along with cough.
